On June 16, 2024, Roofings Group proudly participated in the Run4Climate, an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness about climate change and promoting environmental restoration. The event, held at the National Council of Sports, Hockey Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, Uganda, is part of the broader Running Out of Trees (ROOTS) campaign. The ROOTs campaign aims at planting 40 million trees annually. 

Uganda has lost an alarming 41.6% of its forest cover over the past century, a stark reminder of the urgent need for collective action. One of the key objectives of the Run4Climate 2024 is to restore 300,000 trees across Uganda. As a company, we are deeply invested in the well-being of our environment. Our participation in the Run4Climate is a testament to our ongoing efforts to support environmental causes. We believe that through collective action and community involvement, we can make a substantial difference in combating climate change and preserving our planet.
