On September 29, 2023, Roofings received the Omutima Omugabi award in recognition of its unwavering commitment to corporate philanthropy. The award was presented to Roofings by CivSource Africa at the Gathering of Givers event held at Mestil Hotel, Kampala.

The Gathering of Givers 2023 was held to celebrate corporate philanthropy in Uganda. The event was held under the theme “Beyond Profit: businesses driving social change,”- recognizing the crucial role played by businesses in advancing social good. By acknowledging, awarding, and rewarding private sector entities for their acts of generosity across the nation, CivSource Africa aims to foster a movement of philanthropists and encourage partnerships between civil society organizations (CSOs) and businesses in their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
